This is the new Porsche Boxster Spyder and, as the arrival of any new Porsche tends to be a polarising event, you’ll either be sighing in disgust or yelping in delight. The bare facts? This Boxster Spyder is Porsche’s lightest and quickest current-gen roadster yet thanks to the folding roof being junked.
The Spyder will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show in December 2009, and it’s not a run-out limited edition like previous Spyder-tagged Boxsters, but the third (and most expensive) permanent addition to the roadster range.

Ford of Europe will stem its huge 10-figure losses and return to profitability in 2015, president Stephen Odell vowed this week. Talking to CAR at the global launch of the Ford Edge in Cologne, Germany, Odell vowed that heavy losses would be reversed by the sweeping Ford of Europe turnaround plan whose fruits would be borne over the next 12 months. Ford lost $1.6 billion in Europe in 2013 - the third straight year of red ink flooding the region.
Alfa Romeo is doing a little public relations work on YouTube today. The Italian brand is hyping the new 4C sports car that is scheduled to hit American shores later this year. The two-seater will run a 1.8-liter, direct-injected four-cylinder engine making 240 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
